Design Challenge '08 - what's next by Stijn De Wit on 2009, January 14

90 Projects out of 15 European countries: the result of a successfull Design Challenge '08.

In September 2008 SCA Packaging challenged students all over Europe to develop a new packaging system to sell chocolate in-store.  Once the competition closed at the start of December, the material of the 90 submissions was shared with the jury in preparation of the jury meeting.

On Monday January 12, the jury met for the first time in Brussels.  After a full day of deliberation they concluded on a short list of 10 projects.  Out of these 10, five candiates will be chosen and invited for a full day workshop in the SCA Packaging Innovation Centre.  This will give these young talents the opportunity to learn from our design experts in order to fine tune their concepts.

The final winner of the Design Challenge '08 will be announced at the SCA Packaging customer event Packaging Experience '09: "Seduce shoppers in-store".
