What is a total packaging concept?

In our brief we ask you to design a ‘total packaging concept’. But what does this mean in practise?
Picture your chocolate product throughout the product life cycle:
> What does it need to be protected and transported from the manufacturer to the warehouse and to the shop/store where it will be displayed?
> What does it take to make the product attractive to the consumer?
Your solution can either be a combination of packaging solutions (e.g. transport box, shelf ready and display stand) or one single packaging that fulfils these criteria.
